Tehilim and Mishlei with Ashkenazic translation. From Nevi'im and Ketuvim by "Ha'Maggid". Slavita, Moshe Shapira prinitng press, 1820.
With the Targum Yehonatan, Rashi, Metzudat David and Metzudat Tzion.
The Ashkenazic (Yiddish) translation is vowelized and differs from earlier editions. This is actually a new translation with a totally different vocabulary and sentence structure. In addition, the translation was printed in square letters and not in Hebrew-Teitch with Tzor letters.
252 leaves. 21 cm.
Condition: Good. Nice, new leather binding. Blue paper. A number of pages at the end of the volume have professionally restored margins, with slight damage to text. Time stains.
