Speeches for festivals and special days in the manner of homiletics and the way of Kabbalah.
Part one - by Rabbi Chanoch ben Rabbi Avraham of Posen. Part two - by his son, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Av Beit Din of Paberze and its district. With additions [part 3] by his grandson Rabbi Chanoch Henich Av Beit Din of Shteitich. Furth, 1708. Single edition.
Between parts one and two a booklet was printed, "Tochecha Megulah", words of mussar and good actions which was written by "a great man of Israel…who hid his name from being written on the book". An important and interesting article, which includes important words of mussar. Amongst other things he writes with regards to the laws of the synagogue, in unique and pleasant language.
In the introduction to the book is a handwritten correction, from the context it seems that this is the author's handwriting. A short in-depth comment on page 24.
68 pages.
Condition: Good. A few moth signs. A small number of pages are detached. Small holes in a few pages. Water stains. New cover.
