Herko Páter - Satiric, anti-Semite Newspaper– Budapest, Hungary, 1898
On the front page of the newspaper there is an anti-Semite caricature of the stereotypical Jew: an ugly image seen evading the payment of taxes with a sack of money of its back.
Antisemitism was common in Hungary at the end of the 19th century. It was reflected in blood libels, the founding of anti-Semite political parties and anti-Jewish propaganda.
Condition: Very Good.
