ASHTON FREDERICK: (1904-1988) - ASHTON FREDERICK: (1904-1988) British ballet dancer and choreographer. A good and unusual signed 7 x 10 photograph of Ashton in a full-length pose in costume as Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle from the ballet film The Tales of Beatrix Potter (1971) which was choreographed by Ashton and based on the children's stories of English author and illustrator Beatrix Potter. Signed by Ashton in bold blue fountain pen ink to a lighter area at the centre of the image, also adding Winkle! in his hand beneath his signature.
