DALTON EMMETT: (1871-1937) - DALTON EMMETT: (1871-1937) American outlaw, train robber and member of the Dalton Gang of the American Old West. An 8vo half-tone photographic illustration, evidently removed from a book or other contemporary publication, the monochrome image depicting Dalton in a head and shoulders pose wearing a Stetson hat and tie, with the printed caption ´Emmett Dalton in 1892´ to the lower white border. Signed and inscribed by Dalton to the blank verso in blue ink, ´Private Property of Emmett Dalton´ . With a red-bordered 12mo label neatly affixed to the verso stating that Dalton's rights were handled by his agent, Paul Cruger of 5800 Carlton Way, Hollywood. VG
