NEHRU JAWAHARLAL: (1889-1964) Indian Prime Minister 1947-64. An excellent A.L.S., Jawaharlal Nehru, one page, 4to, Lausanne, 13th February 1936, to Mr. Shah. Nehru first refers to his wife´s health, stating `Two weeks ago my wife was removed here from Badenweiler. The change seems to have done her some good and she is slightly better.´, further saying `I am returning to India soon. Probably I shall go by air, taking the K.L.M airlines from Marseille
Till then I remain here, leaving Lausanne on the 28th evening.´, and adds before concluding `I have recently been to London where I spent a very busy time.´ Folded. With very small pinholes to the upper left corner, otherwise VG £600-900
