TAFT WILLIAM H.: (1857-1930) American President 1909-13. A vintage postcard photograph, the image depicting the empty interior of the Supreme Court at Washington D.C., signed by Taft in bold black fountain pen ink with his name alone to a clear area of the image. Some slight smudging to a couple of letters of the signature. Unusual in this form. VG £80-100 Taft served as Chief Justice of the United States from 1921-30.
