FEODOROVNA ALEXANDRA: (1872-1918) Alix of Hesse. Empress Consort of Russia 1894-1917, wife of Tsar Nicholas II. The last Tsarina of Russia, known for her notorious friendship with the Russian mystic Rasputin. An excellent A.N.S., `Alexandra´, to her personal 3.5 x 2.5 card, in French, bearing to the left border a Royal gilt crown embossed, above her gilt embossed name, Alexandra, in capital Cyrillic letters. The Empress sends a warm message `Avec mes felicitations de coeur, Alexandra´ in French, (''With my heart congratulations''), also dated 7th March 1913, in her hand. EX £1000-1500
