NICHOLAS II OF RUSSIA: (1868-1918) - NICHOLAS II OF RUSSIA: (1868-1918) Emperor of Russia 1894-1917. Assassinated. A good D.S., Nicholas, in Cyrillic, two pages, folio, Tsarkoe Selo, 28th January 1914, in Cyrillic. The typed document bears the printed heading of the Russian Imperial and Royal Orders, being a decree addressed to the Chapter of Russian Imperial and Royal Orders bestowing three imperial orders, including the Imperial Order of Saint Anna, second class, conferred in favour of Pyotr Khotyaintsev, Collegiate Councillor and Associate Prosecutor of the Moscow District Court; also the Order of St. Stanislas, Second Class, conferred upon Ippolit Semenovsky, Collegiate Secretary, performing the duties of Examining Magistrate of the 2 nd Section of Rybinsk County, within the jurisdiction of the Yaroslavl District Court, and finally the Order of St. Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles, Fourth Class, conferred upon Mikhail Puzyrevsky, Collegiate Councillor and Associate Prosecutor of the Tiflis Judicial Chamber. Nicholas II orders the Chapter to issue in favour of the awarded officers the knights insignias and credentials. Bearing at the base of the front page an ink stamp of the Chapter of Imperial and Royal Orders, dated 14th February 1914. VG
