MASSENET JULES: (1842-1912) - MASSENET JULES: (1842-1912) French composer of the Romantic era. A.M.Q.S., M. Massenet , one page (manuscript paper), oblong 12mo (approximately 9 x 6 cm), Paris, 1900. Massenet has penned several bars of music which he identifies as being from the symphonic intermezzo Méditation , an instrumental entr´acte performed between the scenes of Act II in the opera Thaïs (1894).
