ANNA OF RUSSIA: (1693-1740) Anna Ivanovna, Empress of Russia 1730-40. D.S., `Anna´, one page, folio, Moscow, 15th May 1731, in Cyrillic. The handwritten document is a decree, ordering Treasurer Kaysarov to attend payments due to merchants who have supplied wallpaper and other decoration supplies for the new palace hall, for a total of two thousand rubles plus ten thousand one hundred and six rubles and eighty-four kopecks and one fourth. To the verso the letter bears a list of seventeen merchants with names and amounts to pay, Vasiky Ivanov 1808 rubles and 63 kopecks, Petr Nikitin 60 rubles and 12 kopecks, Avdotya Artamonova 8 rubles and 55 kopecks, etc
