PROUST MARCEL: (1871-1922) French Novelist and Essayist. Best known for his major novel A la Recherche du Temps Perdu (`In search of Lost Time´). A good A.L.S., `Marcel Proust´, two pages, 8vo, two sheets written to the first and third page, n.p. [Paris], n.d. [1913], to a friend, in French. Proust tries to meet urgently his correspondent and states `I have allowed myself to make you call at home
