CUI CESAR: (1835-1918) Russian Composer, a member of The Five Group. A good and clean A.L.S., `C.Cui´, one page, 8vo, St. Petersburg, 4th February 1895, to Louis Diemer, in French. Cui states in part `My editor Bosworth from Leipzig must have sent to you my 5 musical pieces for piano which have just been published. I have taken the liberty of dedicating two of them to you.´ further adding `They are not worthy of your superb talent..´ With blank integral leaf.
