Father of famous singer Joe Dassin, and husband of awarded Greek actress Melina Mercouri. A passionate love letter, A.L.S., `Jules´, one page, 4to, Greece, 9th April 1981, on his personal PRINTED stationery, to Carine Rueff. Dassin sends passionate words to his lover, stating in part `It is too difficult to maintain a silence. You are too deep in my heart. I do not, I cannot stop thinking in you
