HASSE RUDOLF: (1906-1942) - HASSE RUDOLF: (1906-1942) German motor racing driver, winner of the 1937 Belgian Grand Prix with the Auto Union team. A scarce vintage signed postcard photograph by Hasse, the image depicting five Auto Union team drivers in half-length poses in a row, comprising (from left to right) Tazio Nuvolari, Hasse, Christian Kautz, Hans Stuck, and Hermann Muller, each admiring the racing car before them. Signed by Hasse in bold blue fountain pen ink with his name alone to a lighter area of the image. Autographs of Hasse are scarce in any form owing to his early death at the age of 36 in World War II.
