TSAREVICH ALEXEI NIKOLAEVICH: (1904-1918) Tsarevich of Russia, and heir apparent to the throne of the Russian Empire, the youngest child and only son of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna. Executed alongside his parents and sisters by the Bolsheviks. An exceptionally rare signed 5.5 x 7 photograph by the Tsarevich, the oval image showing the young heir seated, wearing a marine-sailor shirt, holding a book, in a profile half length pose. Signed in bold black ink `Alexei´, in Cyrillic, beneath the image to the beige matted card, also dated 1914 in his hand. Very small foxing stains to the card, otherwise VG £10000-15000
