SAN MARTIN JOSE DE: (1778-1850) Argentine General, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of Chile 1817-19 and President of Peru 1821-22. L.S., Jose de San Martin, one page, folio, General Headquarters, Santiago, Chile, 19th November 1820, to the Secretary of State in the Department of War, in Spanish.
