PIAF EDITH: (1915-1963) French Singer. D.S., Edith Piaf, two pages, 4to, Los Angeles, 8th August 1955. The partially printed document is an AGVA standard form of Artists Employment contract, American Guild of Variety Artists, made between Piaf and the Mocambo, Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, California. Edith Piaf agrees fourteen performances during the month of August 1955 for a sum of $2500 per week. Signed at the conclusion, to the second page, by Piaf and the Mocambo representative. Folded.
