CERDAN MARCEL: (1916-1949) French Boxer, World Middleweight Champion 1948-49. Rare vintage signed and inscribed postcard photograph of Cerdan standing in a full length boxing pose. Photograph by Le Studio. Signed and inscribed in bold blue fountain pen ink across the image. Autographs of Cerdan are rare following his tragic death in an air crash at the age of 33. Together with Victor Buttin (1919-1990) French Boxer. Champion of France. One of the very few boxers who defeated Cerdan. Signed and inscribed 7 x 9 photograph, Lyon, 28th January 1947.
