BARRIE J. M.: (1860-1937) Scottish novelist and playwright, the creator of Peter Pan. A.L.S., with his initials JMB, one page, 8vo, Adelphi Terrace House, Strand, London, 11th July 1930, to Miss. Jane Lewis ( ´My dear Jane´). Barrie invites his correspondent to come for tea at 5pm on Sunday if it suits her, and further remarks ´I am so sorry you have had to suffer by this newspaper amalgamation´. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Barrie. One small, very light circular stain to the lower half of the page, not affecting the text or signature, VG
