MARADONA DIEGO: (1960-2020) Argentine football player, captain of the Argentinean FIFA World Cup winning team of 1986. Signed colour 4 x 6 promotional photograph of Maradona in a full-length action pose, with a football at his feet, during a match for the Argentina national team. Signed in blue ink to the image, also adding his squad number 10 in his hand beneath his signature. A few light, minor surface creases and some slight traces of former mounting to the verso. Together with Mario Kempes (1954- ) Argentine football player, a member of the Argentinean FIFA World Cup winning team of 1978, also receiving the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards at the tournament. Signed colour 6 x 3.5 photograph, a candid image of Kempes standing in a half-length pose in an empty stadium and holding a football in his hands.
