ADAMS NICK: (1931-1968) American actor, an Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor in 1963 for his role as Ben Brown in Twilight of Honor. A rare vintage signed and inscribed 7 x 9.5 photograph of the actor in a head and shoulders pose, smoking a cigarette, in costume from his Oscar nominated performance as Ben Brown, a man charged with murder, from the American neo noir crime film Twilight of Honor (also released as The Charge is Murder). Signed by Adams in blue fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image. Signed photographs of the actor are rare as a result of his untimely death from a prescription drug overdose at the age of 36.
