WIESENTHAL SIMON: (1908-2005) Jewish Austrian Holocaust survivor and Nazi hunter. Signed 4 x 6 photograph of Wiesenthal in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in black ink with his name alone to the base of the image. Together with a T.L.S., S Wiesenthal, one page, 4to, Vienna, Austria, 27th September 1983, to Dennis Johansson, on the printed stationery of the Dokumentationszentrum des Bundes Judischer Verfolgter des Naziregimes. Wiesenthal thanks his correspondent for their letter and kind remarks, adding ´I am always especially pleased when young people, like yourself, take an interest in my activities´ and further stating that he is enclosing a signed photograph and a copy of his latest bulletin (still present; dated 31st January 1983).
