[NELSON HORATIO]: (1758-1805) British Admiral during the Napoleonic Wars, the victor of the Battle of Trafalgar, 1805. NELSON EDMUND: (1722-1802) British priest, the rector of Burnham Thorpe in Norfolk, and the father of Admiral Horatio Nelson. A.L.S., Mr. Nelson, in the third person, one page, small oblong 8vo, Burnham Thorpe, 22nd October 1787, to Mr. Scott, an upholsterer in Norwich. Nelson states that he ´desires Mr. Scott, to send him, by Simms, as much neat black horse hair, as will bottom six chairs´ and also asks that he ´let him know the price of a plain sopha, about 5 foot or 5 foot 3 inches long, with sacking covering only.....´.
