GORBACHEV MIKHAIL & WALESA LECH: Unusual signed photograph by two Nobel Peace prize awards. Mikhail Gorbachev (1931- 2022) Soviet Statesman, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union 1985-91 and Head of the Soviet Union 1988-91. Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1990, & Lech Wałęsa (1943- ) Polish Statesman, Dissident and Leader of the Solidarity movement. Walesa served as President of Poland 1990-1995, being the first democratically elected president of Poland since 1926 and the first-ever Polish president elected by popular vote. Walesa was awarded with the Nobel Peace prize award in 1983. A very good and unusual signed colour 11 x 8 photograph by the two Nobel awarded Politicians, the image depicting Gorbachev and Walesa standing in half-length poses. Individually signed by Gorbachev and Walesa in bold blue inks, Gorbachev in Cyrillic, to largely clear areas of the image. VG
