GUS: (1911-1997) Gustave Erlich. French comic Cartoonist. Well remembered for his publications in French newspapers , Le Figaro, Le Canard Enchainé, and many others. An excellent signed original watercolour, ` Gus´, one page, oblong folio, drawing paper, n.p., 11th September 1989, in French. Gus has drawn a funny sketch showing two soldiers of the East Germany, RDA, watching East Germany citizens flying from East to West, with the legend `RDA: Great Migration to West´ in his hand, on the occasion of the fall of the Berlin wall in September 1989.
