CALLAS MARIA: (1923-1977) - CALLAS MARIA: (1923-1977) American-born Greek soprano, & DI STEFANO GIUSEPPE (1921-2008) Italian tenor. Known as the ”Golden voice”, Di Stefano recorded multiple historical performances with Maria Callas in the 50´s. A good multiple signed 4 x 6 photograph of Callas and Di Stefano during a performance of Bellini´s opera La Sonnambula (1831) at La Scala of Milan, the Piccagliani image showing them in costume and standing in a three quarter length pose. Signed in black and blue inks respectively to largely clear areas of the image, also dated in Callas´ hand, 1972. Bearing to the verso an ink stamp of Teatro Alla Scala photographer E. Piccagliani.
