He served as music director of the La Scala opera house in Milan, principal conductor of the Berlin Philarmonic, of the London Symphony Orchestra and music director of the Vienna State Opera. A very fine signed 10 x 8 colour photograph by Abbado, the promotional Deutshe Grammophon image showing the acclaimed Italian conductor in a half length pose, conducting during a performance.
