JURADO KATY: (1924-2002) Mexican actress, the first Latin American actress to be nominated for an Oscar. A good signed 8 x 10 photograph of Jurado in a head and shoulders pose, the original Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer publicity portrait issued in July 1955 to promote the American drama film Trial in which Jurado starred in the role of Consuela Chavez. Signed by tha actress in bold black ink with her name alone to a light area of the image. VG
