BALABANOFF ANGELICA: (1878-1965) Russian-Italian communist Activist. Former Secretary of the Russian Comintern, and later political Leader in Italy. Balabanoff joined in 1917 the Bolshevik´s party, and would later work alongside Lenin, Trotsky and many other Russian revolutionary leaders. Signed 4.5 x 3,5 card `Angeli Balabanoff´ to the verso of a printed invitation card to the National Congress of the Italian Democratic Socialist Party, Rome, at the Theatre Argentina, 9th July 1954, in Italian. Bearing a printed stamp to the verso. Folded. G £100-150
