OUDINOT NICOLAS: (1767-1847) Marshal of France. Duc de Reggio. L.S., `Ml. Oudinot´, one page, 4to, Paris, 21st June 1816, in French. The document being a certificate issued by Oudinot, stating `The Marshal, Pair of France, Duc of Reggio, declares that according to his knowledge, H.R.H Monseigneur Duc of Berry has granted when passing by Bar-le-Duc on 9th October 1814, the Legion d´Honneur Award to M. Moreau, inspector of taxes..´ The letter bears to the front a very attractive red wax seal in very fine condition. With blank integral leaf. Very small overall minor age wear. Folded. VG £200-300
