RAEDER ERICH: (1876-1960) German Grand Admiral. He leaded the Kriegs marine until 1943 when he resigned and was replaced by Donitz. D.S., Raeder, one page, 4to, Berlin, 11th December 1937, in German. The attractive document being a certificate and military appointment given by Raeder as Minister-Chancellor of war, and bears a large and attractive blind embossed seal of the Nazi eagle, swastika and oak leaves to the front page.
