LATHAM HUBERT: (1883-1912) French aviation Pioneer. The first person to attempt to cross the English Channel in an aeroplane. Latham also set several altitude and airspeed records. Signed 4 x 6 card by Latham in bold purple ink. Latham died at the very early age of 29, in Africa, under unclear circumstances. Small tear not affecting the signature. G £100-150 The present partially printed card was part of the Albert Brust collection. Albert Brust (1891-1934) was a German Writer and autograph Collector.
