QUASIMODO SALVATORE: (1901-1968) Italian Novelist and Poet. Nobel Prize in Literature in 1959. The Sicilian writer is widely considered one of the foremost Italian poets of the 20th century. Signed 4 x 6 photograph by Quasimodo, the image showing the Italian artist in a formal half length pose. Signed in bold blue ink `Salvatore Quasimodo´ to the upper left clear corner.
