BLASCO IBANEZ VICENTE: (1867-1928) Spanish Novelist of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. T.L.S., `Vicente Blasco Ibañez´, two pages, on two separate sheets, 4to, Menton, 30th June 1927, on his personal printed stationery, to an unidentified friend, in Spanish. Blasco Ibañez refers to his royalties for the French translation of the work El Papa del Mar about the antipope Benedict XIII. He announces his arrival to Paris at the Claridge Hotel, and expects to meet his correspondent to talk about the book and the number of copies they have to request from Flammarion the editor in order to help with the propaganda. With few amendments in the hand of the Spanish author. VG £100-150
