RODIN AUGUSTE: (1840-1917) French Sculptor. A.N.S., `Rodin´, on his personal printed visiting card, Paris, n.d., to his friend Gustave Geffroy, in French. Rodin writes in bold black ink to the card front and verso stating in part `My dear friend, I will not be able to meet our dear Daudet, my work needs to be molded in the next few days, and I have worked like a ghost writer..´ Accompanied by the original envelope, post-stamped, and addressed in Rodin´s hand.
