Masaryk writes to offer a literary plan to his correspondent, explaining that he has completed the first volume of a work on Russia entitled Russia and Europe: Studies in Russian Philosophy of History and Religion, which is an enlarged part of his Chicago lectures, continuing ´Could you find a translator (from the German) & perhaps revise the translation? The Chicago University Press, I hope, will publish the book & pay the translation out of the Crane Fund; at least I asked them to do it & hope they will approve of my plan´ and further explaining ´I would send the Germ. sheets as soon as the printing will begin; this might be in about 2-3 months.
