KIEFER ANSELM: (1945- ) German painter and sculptor. Signed colour 11 x 8 photograph of the artist reclined in a pensive three-quarter length pose within his studio with a copy of one of Paul Celan´s books (a major source of inspiration) in his hands. Signed by Kiefer in blue fountain pen ink with his name alone across the head of the image. EX
Provenance: The vendor informs us that the signature was obtained in person on the occasion of Kiefer presenting Solaris, his design for the safety curtain of the Vienna State Opera house in November 2023.
