PIPER JOHN: (1903-1992) English painter and designer of stained-glass windows. Signed official commemorative cover issued on the occasion of the solemn opening of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in May 1967 and featuring an image of the cathedral´s tower, postmarked at Liverpool on 14th May 1967. Signed by Piper in black fountain pen ink with his name alone to a clear area. About EX
