E. ´TOMMY´: (1902-1964) English Wing Commander with the Royal Air Force, a Special Operations Executive (SOE) agent of World War II who was known by the Gestapo as ´The White Rabbit´. Book signed, being a hardback edition of The White Rabbit by Bruce Marshall ( ´from the story told to him by Wing Commander F. F. E. Yeo-Thomas, G.C., M.C.´), published by Evans Brothers Limited, London, 1952. Signed ( ´F Yeo Thomas´) by Yeo-Thomas in blue fouuntain pen ink with his name alone to the front free endpaper. Also bearing an ownsership signature to the front pastedown. Bound in the publisher´s blue cloth (spine faded) and lacking the dust jacket. Rare. Some very light, minor age wear, otherwise VG
