GALLAND ADOLF: (1912-1996) German fighter pilot of World War II, Knight's Cross winner with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. Signed 4 x 6 photograph of Galland in a head and shoulders pose wearing his Knight´s Cross. Signed in black ink with his name alone to the lower white border. Together with a typed letter, unsigned, from Galland´s third wife, Heidi, one page, 4to, Remagen, 11th November 1994, to Mr. Raboud, thanking him for his letter and continuing to remark ´General Galland thanks you for your interest in the history of aviation. Enclosed please find the autographed photo in his former Luftwaffe uniform´. VG to EX, 2
