QUANT MARY: (1930-2023) British fashion designer, credited with the design of the miniskirt and hotpants and an instrumental figure in the 1960s London-based Mod and youth fashion movements. Signed 6.75 x 10 photograph of Quant seated in a full length pose with her arms and legs crossed before her. Photograph by John Adriaan of London and bearing his credit stamp to the verso. Signed by Quant in brown ink to a light area at the base of the image. EX
