GERMAN CINEMA: A good selection of vintage signed sepia postcard photographs by various German and Austrian actresses of the 1920s and 1930s comprising Lilian Harvey, Dolly Haas, Paula Wessely (voice of Snow White in the German-dubbed version of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 1938), Maria Corda (wife of Alexander Korda from 1919-30), Camilla Horn (2), Kathe von Nagy, Gerda Maurus (discovered by Fritz Lang and cast in the female lead role of his silent thriller film Spione, 1928), Liane Haid, Lil Dagover, Dorothea Wieck, and Lucie Englisch. Many are published by Ross and the majority are signed in fountain pen inks with their names alone to largely clear areas. Generally VG, 12
