PORRIDGE: Richard Beckinsale (1947-1979) English actor, remembered for his roles as Lennie Godber in the BBC television sitcom Porridge (1974-77) and as Alan Moore in the ITV television sitcom Rising Damp (1974-78). An excellent, rare signed 8 x 10 photograph of Beckinsale in a close-up head and shoulders pose, drawing on a cigar, in costume as Jet Bone from the British musical comedy film Three for All (1975). Signed by Beckinsale in bold black ink to the base of the image. Signed photographs of Beckinsale, particularly of this size and quality, are rare as a result of the actor's untimely death at the age of 31; Ronnie Barker (1929-2005) English comedy actor, remembered for many television roles including his portrayal of Norman Stanley Fletcher in Porridge. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of Barker in a head and shoulders pose, smiling from behind the bars of his prison cell, in costume as Fletcher from Porridge. Signed in blue ink with his name alone to a light area at the base of the image. VG to EX, 2
