ALIAS SMITH AND JONES: Pete Duel (1940-1971) American actor, remembered for his portrayal of outlaw Hannibal Heyes (alias Joshua Smith) in the American Western television series Alias Smith and Jones (1971-73). An excellent and extremely rare signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Duel in a head and shoulders pose wearing a Western costume. Signed in black ink across a light area of the image, ´Dear John, Thank you for your kind words and appreciation. The best of luck with your career. Sincerely, Pete Duel´. Autographs of Duel are extremely rare in any form as a result of his death by suicide at the young age of 31, and this is a particularly fine and desirable signed image; Ben Murphy (1942- ) American actor, remembered for his portrayal of Jedediah ´Kid´ Curry in Alias Smith and Jones.
