LEIGH & OLIVIER
LEIGH VIVIEN (1913-1967) English actress & OLIVIER LAURENCE (1907-1989) English actor, both Academy Award winners. A good vintage signed 8 x 10 photograph by both Leigh and Olivier individually, the image depicting the actors in full-length poses together in costume as the renowned Roman general Titus Andronicus and Lavinia, his daughter, from the 1955 stage production of William Shakespeare´s tragedy Titus Andronicus. The photograph is most probably by Angus McBean, although is uncredited, and was likely to have been taken at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. Signed by both Leigh and Olivier with their names alone in blue fountain pen inks, largely to the lower border. Some very light, minimal age wear and a couple of small corner creases, VG
