[BEN-HUR]: HESTON CHARLTON (1923-2008) American actor, one of whose most famous roles was as Judah Ben-Hur in the American religious epic film Ben-Hur (1959). A good vintage signed 8 x 10 photograph, the vintage Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer publicity portrait (1969 re-issue) depicting Heston in a half-length pose in costume as Judah Ben-Hur. Signed by the actor in black fountain pen ink across a largely light area of the background. It was for his performance in this role that Heston won a Best Actor Oscar. About EX
