[THE WIZARD OF OZ]: LAHR BERT (1895-1967) American actor and comedian, remembered for his role as the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz (1939). Vintage signed 8 x 10 photograph of Lahr in a head and shoulders pose with one hand raised to the side of his face. Photograph by Maurice Seymour of Chicago. Signed ( 'Best wishes, Bert Lahr') by the actor in fountain pen ink to the image with slightly poorer contrast. VG
