PALLETTE EUGENE: (1889-1954) American character actor, remembered for his portrayal of Friar Tuck in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938). A good, scarce vintage signed and inscribed sepia 8 x 10 photograph of the actor in a head and shoulders pose smartly dressed in a suit and waistcoat and wearing a flat cap. Photograph by the Galea Studio of Hollywood, California, and bearing their blindstamp to the lower left corner. Signed by Pallette in founatin pen ink to a lighter area of the image and dated 6th September 1928 in his hand. A couple of very small, minor areas of loss to the borders, otherwise VG
