BATES RALPH: (1940-1991) English actor, remembered for his roles in various Hammer Horror films. A scarce signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Bates in a profile head and shoulders pose in costume as Lord Courtley from the British supernatural horror film Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970) which represented the actor´s first appearance in a Hammer Horror film. Signed by Bates in bold blue fountain pen ink at the head of the image. A few corner creases, otherwise about VG
